Homeowner Program

On behalf of the County of Berks, the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Berks (BCRA) will administer the Whole-Home Repairs Program which is designed to assist low-income families who own and occupy an attached or detached single-family home in need of a repair or replacement of a major system or items of their house.

This assistance to homeowners is provided as a forgivable grant and must be used for an item or items that threatens the health, safety or welfare of the household. The house must be located in Berks County.

For applicants inside the City of Reading, your applications will be administered by Habitat for Humanity.

For applicants outside the City of Reading, your applications will be administered by Berks County Redevelopment Authority.
